SLAUGHTERHOUSE SLOUGH NEWS:
The good folks at the
University of Lethbridge Art Gallery have graciously invited me to be their very first ever Cartoonist-in-Residency (or Social Media something or other, whatever, they'll announce it all soon enough) in conjunction with the SETH: DOMINION exhibition, running from November 7, 2014 to January 15, 2015.
Those who know me well have probably suffered through my rambling on about the importance of
Seth's comic and illustration work on my own inky adventures, not to mention his status as one of the most important Canadian cartoonists working today.
The SETH: DOMINION exhibit will feature his sketchbooks and other 2-D work, but most spectacularly, it will be home to Seth's cardboard city of Dominion. This means that I will be working, drawing and creating comics surrounded by Seth's little corrugated creations as well as interacting with everyone who comes into the space while I am present in the gallery.
More details be available before long, but in the meantime, be sure to watch my
TWITTER for updates.
